The Japanese Oversized Trench / Object 6

During a trip to Tokushima in Japan we had the pleasure to meet an ex-accountant, ex-banker, ex-architect and two art graduates that are completely into indigo. In their studio we saw this oversized trenchcoat and feel in love with it. They explained to us it was a unique handsewn sample and it had been dipped in indigo 10 times to get the colour they wanted. These people cured indigo lika a baby. From planting seeds, growing it to harvesting it and making the indigo batch, all to pass this great tradition of Japanese indigo dyeing on to the future. Right there we decide to order 10 of these precious Trenchcoats.
