Le Pisteur / Object 1

Close

Developed in Chamonix in 1973, then, part of the uniform worn by the Pisteurs, who took care of the ski slopes. The jacket was handmade by a small company in Saint Gervais, not far from Chamonix and Mont Blanc. The owner Monsieur Rogge was meticulous in his choice of canvas, zippers and velcro all pieced together by seamstresses sharing a big room overlooking the French Alps. When asked if it was him, on the bad phone lines back then, he always answered proudly: Lui-Meme. We decide to produce 50 pieces of the beautiful blue jacket in Italy.
